Straightened hair?

i straighten my hair alot..what will keep it looking healthy?

Straightened hair?

I believe they are both right. I have very curly hair, only one out of 5 siblings. So I changed to John Frieda products.

Shampoo and Conditioner FRIZZ-EASE....new products Straight Ahead. It has a 5 step.... I already gave you 2 above, plus this is for protection of our hair= Hair Serum,DownPlay or Straight Answer,Secret Weapon and or Moisture Barrier.

Helps you to work with your hair plus keeps it healthy.

I hope I helped you. Oh,and don't forget a good and healthy diet will help you even more.

Straightened hair?

it will up to a certain point... and when it starts looking damaged use dove therapy shampoo and conditioner. it really helps.

Straightened hair?

get you some vidal sassoon shine serum

Straightened hair?

I use this vo5 spray. It comes in a red bottle, small. It is made especially for hair that is submitted to heat from straighteners and dryers. I hope that helps!

Straightened hair?

use a cream to protect your hair from straightening and get a trim every 6-8 weeks

Straightened hair?

Dove shampoo and conditioner. I use that all the time and you shouldn't wash your hair more than 2 times a week. Washing your hair everyday releases alot of your natural oils, this is why we have dry looking hair. The straightener is damaging your hair alot to so yeah, try dove. WOrks for me

Straightened hair?

the secret to that is horse shampoo. yep it makes your hair soft, shiny, and healthy. buy the MAIN N' TAIL kind. if your not comfortable with that then use head and shoulders.

Straightened hair?

Make sure that you are using a Conditioner. Some of the best hair products that dont cost that much are Pantyne and Infusium 23. Keep your ends trimmed. Watch out for dangerous chemicals... like bleaches, peroxides, and extra highlights. If you use a flat iron, give your hair a break on the weekends or days that you dont go out. Also, if you drink plenty of water, it has an effect on your hair.

Straightened hair?

if u straighten it a lot u should put on conditioner once and awhile to keep ur hair strong and shinny.

Straightened hair?

I have the same prob.. use elvive masks from lore'al...they're SOMETHING!! use the orange color container they look like small

penut butter containers.

Straightened hair?

lots of shampoos and conditioners are good for that. i don't have any at the back of my head. but you should only use ceramic straightners, not metal or anything, better for your hair.

Straightened hair?

I straighten my hair almost everyday, but it still looks healthy. To keep it healthy, only straighten your hair when it's dry, and use a heat protectant on the hair before straightening it. Remember that heating up your hair frequently may cause split ends, so buy a conditioning shampoo that repairs breakage. Also, try to let your hair dry natually whenever possible. If you do this, it will continue to look heathly even when straightened.

Straightened hair?

Thermasilk or however you spell it! it like makes your hair look shiny..!.

Straightened hair?

I have the same problem! i also have a lot of blonde highlights especially in my bangs and i straighten my bangs mostly and they're the most fried. so like everynight i keep conditioner in them for a half hour then wash it out and dont do anything to it. I think it helps, maybe it doesn't but it's worth a try!

Straightened hair?

-get it chemically straightened

-condition it alot

-go for a shampoo thats especially for damaged hair or one advertised exclusively for hair thats been damaged by blow dryers and straightening irons

Straightened hair?

Your hair will initially look very nice and smooth. But the more you keep using it, the worse it'll get. Try not to use your flat iron all the time. Maybe once a week or so would be good depending on how your hair is. My hair was dry and brittle after flat ironing once a week for about a year. For the past two month I have stopped using it even though I have very curly hair. My hair is again getting better and softer. Try to save up a good Iron. You would rather spend money on one good iron than 3 cheap ones. Chi Ceramic Irons are good, but expensive. Also use a heat protective cream or spray before straightening. Redken makes good ones, but again are expenve. Also I heard Citre Shine makes good heat protective serum/spray/cream. Just do a little research to find a good one for your type of hair.

Straightened hair?

try a curly look. its actually more in fashion right now. i no a way without ever subjecting your hair to constant heat again.

well no shampoo has magic curl making ingredient, but some bring out natural curl. here are some tips:

use sunsilk for curly hair. shampoo and conditioner.

apply shampoo directly on scalp and lather for about 2 minutes working your way down hair at the very end.

apply conditioner. start from bottoms and work your way up. make sure it doesnt touch scalp because that could cause dandruff.

towel dry hair very well but dont rub hair together with towel. creates frizz and damages hair's structure.

apply briosilk oil starting from bottoms working your way up. this will help set natural curls.

to dry: brush hair ONCE ONLY then put in bun but instead of holding with elastic put giant hair claw. this will create flawless look.

good luck on htis. first time will be fabulous. if u keep doing this your hair will get more natural curl and will go away from being plain old straght. toodles!
