Frizzy Hair Therapy?

I have just straightened my hair. It is now less curly but a little frizzier. I am looking for suggestions on hair care products that are the best for my hair to get it back to being healthy and shiny like it was prior to straightening. Looking for products like leave in's, conditioners that sort of thing. I have used products in the past, but those seem to dry the hair out.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL:)

Frizzy Hair Therapy?

I have 2 products to recommend to you highly!

The first is Infusium 23's leave in conditioner. My friend with naturally curly hair uses this religiously. It keeps your hair moist and smelling really good. It's a liquid rather than a cream, so it can be messy so I would recommend putting it in a spray bottle for more control. Just be careful using it when wearing light colored clothes because sometimes it does stain the clothes.

The other product to use is John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Serum in original formula. It is the ONLY product I've used that gives my hair a smooth and soft look without weighing down my hair. And you only use a tiny bit.

Both products are very affordable and can be bought anywhere like Target and Walgreens. Good luck!

Frizzy Hair Therapy?

After straightening your hair you should finger comb a dime size of serum through it, smoothing it out.. especially at the ends. This is a main contender when straightening your hair to get frizz out.

The number one product that people go crazy for is Biosilk's serum. Joico is also good, and Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny serum is made especially for making your hair as straight as possible.

Frizzy Hair Therapy?

Yess there is this thing that is called glaire shineing gel and its awsome i use it all the time cause my haire gets frizzy and you you can tell the difrence try it out.

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

if at all possible, i'd like something not so expensive, and something i can find in a store, rather than having to order online...

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

Hair is dead. Vitamins will not make it grow faster.

"I frequently hear of people taking pre natal pills to make their hair grow faster, even men. The reason that an expecting mother's hair may grow slower or faster has to do with hormonal activity and not the pills. So please, stop doing that."

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

go to health food shop and ask for a specific hair and nail formula, they'l sort it!!!

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

prenatal vitamins do make your hair and nails grow faster!

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

The mineral sulfur will help. Thaimin and magnesium also. Take magnesium only before bed - magnesium supplements stretch time and can make you drowsy.

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

When I used to have long hair, the occasional hot oil treatment helped more than anything else to keep it in condition.

I can't tell you what would make it grow faster, but you can't really go wrong by taking vitamin/mineral/amino supplements and eating a balanced diet.

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

i know something, but you have to but it online. ill just give you the site.

hope that helps =]

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

Good Stores have a selection and a salesperson who knows a thing or 2 about Vitamins. You can't really go wrong with B-Complex or Citric Acid but be careful with supplements containing metal like copper,magnesium...etc. They are only good for you in minute quantity; Calcium is safe in quantity, so are B %26amp; C. Beware especially of purported "miracles" sold OnLine %26amp; onTV%26lt;those could make you really Sick!

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

You can take prenatal vitamins to make your hair grow. WalMart also has hair and nail vitamins for cheap and they also work.

What vitamins can i take to make my hair grow faster and healthier?

Treat your hair properly - don't dye or bleach it, don't put strange chemicals on it, use a mild shampoo no more often than three times a week (more often strips the oils needed for "healthy" hair). Hair is dead, as the others say, so it can only look and feel "healthy", but that's what you want. You don't need extra vitamins or herbal supplements for your hair, just be sure you are getting the vitamins you need for general health, either through proper eating or (if really necessary) with a low-dosage multi-vitamin.

Anyone experienced with hair extensions!?!?

OK, i have been learing my lesson. I am no longer dyeing my hair, its taking effort not to, since my really dark roots are begining to get to me. I am determended to be able to say that the hair on my head (ALL OF IT) from root to tip, is my natural color. I have dyed it so many times that i had long hair, but HAD to cut it short since i did that much damage. My hair is now in pretty good shape. My roots are still healthy, will the ends arent as healthy, but not so un-healthy i'd need to cut it.

I am happy it's healty, but im not happy its short. I want to get hair extensions, but i have no knowledge of them. I don;t know how they are made, what theie real purose is, how to wash them, since tjhey are attached to my scalp, how are they attached? and all the things that are important, in everyday maintence, as well as how they are attached, and how long they stay on for, and what to expect, HELP?!?!?!?!?!

I am beyond confused, i need someone to help me, and or get me a websi

Anyone experienced with hair extensions!?!?

depending on what hair extensions you want they can be made from indian remy hair which is the best you can get or synthetic, but with synthetic hair you cant straighten, color, blowdry it and it looks really fake, remy hair is human hair they cut it froma person and sew it on to a track which is just the hair sewn together at the top with thread.

the purpose of them is to add volume and length.

and theres tons of ways to attach the hair extensions there is, fusion, micro links, sewn in, clip in, and glue in.

fusion uses a special heat want to attach tiny strands of hair to your hair, micro links uses small plastic things to attach little strands of hair to your hair, sew in they make a corn rows in the back and sew the hair weft into the spaces betweent he cornrow with thread, clip in is the easiest one and i reccomend it for begginers you can but hair extensiosn with the clips attached or buy em yourself and attach em to the hair weft with thread or a glue gun clip ins just clip in under some of your hair to make it non visible, glue in is glued to your scalp and it leaves a really bad residue after you take it out.

for all of these you just wash your hair noramaly but not so hard where the extensions are attached or they will come undone with clip ins you just clip em out and dont have to worry abotu wahing them at all unless they get greasy if you wear them all the time, and DO NOT use conditioner where the extensions are attached.

hair extensions can stay in for just a couple of days to a coupel of months estimated th elongest about 5 months, depending on how you take hair of them, clip ins are just attached with clips so you can take me out whenever you want to but they need special clips, you can look them up or any of the extension types i mentioned on google images and youll see all of them.

and you can find them on ebay, or sallys beauty supply, they range from $40-$200 depending on what you want if you want micro links or fusion it will cost from $200-$2,000 becuase oyu purchase the hair and you will need to get them done professionally becuase they take up to 6 hours to do, same with sew ins.

email me at hell0klaudia@yahoo.com if you want more info.

hope i helped.

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

how to use conditioner correctly ?

Should it only be used after we wash our hair?

Or a leave on conditioner for whole nite GOOD? or is there any conditioner for morning or nite ? What brand of Conditioner is good and what it is used for ?

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

moisturize every other day.

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

Conditioner is used after you wash your hair. I don't like leave-in conditioners, I think they make hair feel greasy. I would suggest buying the conditioner that is paired with the shampoo you use, they are normally right next to each other on the shelf or color-coded. Make sure you rinse it out completely when you use it or your hair can become sticky (gross.)

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

For the conditoner, you use it after you wash your hair, and you look at the label. If it says something about being approved for every-day use, use it every day. And there are different types of conditioner: some you put on in the shower and wash it out after like... 30 seconds, then theres stuff you leave in. I reccomend the wash out, because the leave in sometimes makes flakes, or makes hair greasy. What kind of brand varies per person. I use suave, you might be better off with some other brand. It depends on preferences. Just look at the label and make sure its meant for your type of hair (mine is normal to oily, my bro's is normal to dry, it jus depends.)

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

The easiest route to healthy hair is not to wash it every single day. The idea is to wash it one day, and just rinse it really well the next. Your scalp's natural oils will do a lot of the conditioning.

Also, the right conditioner isn't as important as finding a gentle shampoo and using it somewhat sparingly.

Pantene seems to be one of the major brands that's good, but my favorites are MOP (Modern Organic Products) or ArTec Kiwi Shampoo and conditioner. MOP and ArTec are salon types, but they are worth the price for sure. They aren't too heavy, and they rinse out well.

Lastly, if you are concerned about your hair's overall health, make sure you are getting enough oil in your diet. I'm not just talking about fats, I'm talking about good oils like fish or olive. They will help keep everything from head to toe, inside and out moisturized and in top condition.

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

Leaving any type of conditioner on is not harmful. its actually good. If u color your hair u might want to ask your stylist b/c it might strip your color. Conditioner is good at any time, especially if u r going out to the beach or out on any hot day, it protects the hair. If u use color on your hair there is even conditioner w/sunscreen. Personally I have been using deep conditioner and left it on until the next wash ( it works better than mousse).

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

treat it right and wash it every day whether u have conditioner or not. USE A COMB when your hair is wet instead of a brush and try to let it air dry instead of blow dry. brush it every day too. start from the bottom and work your way to the top. i don't really think that there is a difference between night condinitoner and day conditioner. i like to use cheap brand names so that it still works even when you don't need to spend a lot of money. the best kind of shampoo or conditioner is the right one for your hair it says on the front what kind of hair its for and check with someone if its right for u. oh yea and if u have dandruff or lice, then ask a doctor what kind of brand u should use for your hair

How should we treat our hair to be healthy?

It depends on your hair type. Sometimes you don't need to even condition every day. These conditioners build up on the hair, which can lead to a vicious cycle of shampooing your hair too much because it feels oily. That then causes your hair to become dry but still having an oily scalp. Shampoo and condition only as needed.

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

I have been doing Bikram Yoga for 2 months and I love it. They heat up the room at 105 F and it is very healthy to detoxify the body however my hair has been getting to dry. I would like to know if somebody can recommend a good product that I could use to hydrate my hair.

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

Joico KPak or there is also another Joico mosturizing product. Its the best. I had my hair fryed by bleach and this brought it back to life. Go to a good beauty supply store or a salon and tell them the problem they may also have some recommendations as well. Good luck.

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

Pantene

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

Only use products from a salon. They are better. They are more money but why ruin your hair. Especially if you paid money to have them colored only to ruin them with high heat. Just walk into any salon and tell them what you are looking for. They can help you.

Goo Luck

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

-Find a good moisturizing hair mask (Pantene Pro-V moisture replenishing mask is what i use) You can find them at London drugs, and almost any drug store near you. Use them at least 1-2 times a week

- Get either a moisturizing shampoo/ conditioner

Keep up the Yoga!!

-Apply oil to ends of hair once a week. (About a teaspoon extra virgin olive oil is good) Make sure not to apply to roots and wash out before school/work/ect. otherwise your hair will become/look to oily.

-Only use shampoo about 3-4 times a week unless you have super oily/dirty hair. Shampoo actually dries out your hair. Only apply shampoo to your roots, and apply conditioner to hair and ends.

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

Depending on what hair type you have, there are hair oils, that work great, or deep conditioners. But BEWARE of chemicals and toxins in products that will make matters worse, and before you know it you will be buying all types of products, and still have bad hair. Go truly Organic, Natural, check out this site, they have absolutly pure hair care!! and good prices and info goodheadfirst com I think you will know what I mean.

Good luck to you

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

I use an indian oil called brahmi amla oil and it is the most nourishing thing you can put on your hair and it is completely natural, why do all that wonderful detoxing, to only then pile some product on your hair that is full of nasty chemicals. I use this oil all the time, and my hair is silky and soft and so so shiny. And I have highlights and use a straightener. You can buy it from health food shops, or on the net, I actually get mine from ebay for like $8 a bottle.

Which product can I use to hydrate my hair when it is exposed to high heat?

As far as products go, Sabino Moisture block is EXCELLENT!!! (Look at any customer review, they'll tell you the same.) This stuff is a serum you work into your hair after you shampoo, and you can use it to keep curls from frizzing, straighten with a blow drier or flat iron, etc........But here's the thing that separates this from all the other products! It is NOT WATER SOLUBLE!!! You could go out in fog, rain showers, 100% humidity, even swimming (bonus-protects against chlorine damage) and your hair will NOT FRIZZ. I swear to god. My city is like an oven in summer from the humidity, and i've gotten caught in a few storms, and my hair never poofs at all. Ever! And this is the only thing I put into my super, super curly and frizz prone hair! Also, it has no alchohol. And your hair always looks smooth, supple and shiny because it locks moisture into your hair. I've spent a fortune on other products to help with my frizzy hair, to straighten it, and this does cost about $20 but a little goes a looong way. I use it three times a week on my shoulder length hair and the bottle lasts me 3-4 months. Bottom line, try it. You definately won't be dissapopinted.

Hair pink highlighting question?

dark brown hair.. layered... side bangs... thick.. healthy...abotu 1 inch bealow shoulder is longest layer.... I want to know if i should do it all over or just top. im thinking secong layer so it doesnt look so BAM!! =] pls help and advice! i have dye already it got the bleach stuff in it already too so i dont need info on how to do the bleach!

Hair pink highlighting question?

Ummm if you bleached it already why do you need our advice? Color over the bleach. If I were you i'd abort mission NOW, tho... your hair will be wrecked after this... the novelty of pink wears off fast, and there is nothing nastier than a pink/blond/faded pink/brown roots mess growing out, I went to HS with a girl who did this.. yuck.

Hair pink highlighting question?

Hi, just do the front. Try a chunky streaked look by taking sections in each the first and second section of your front layers that frame your face. Do several since your hair is thick, but keep them on top and sparingly from off the face, chunkier is better with thick hair and with an off color like pink. Good Luck and HAVE FUN with it!!

Hair pink highlighting question?

i would go with the second layer i dyed my hair dark brown and pink highlighs but i didnt bleach it first...it looks less bam if you dont blech it i use feria flash fushia

Hair pink highlighting question?

Pink Blue Blond undertones are bad *** but I am from the 80's and love the old rock/punk look

I don't know if what I have is frizz or what but I need some hair help....what should I use and

So like Im not sure if what I have is frizz but my hair is naturally straight and healthy, no split ends. But when I wear it down like a bunch of little pieces of hair stick out all over because they arent that long...is this frizz? What can I use to have that nice long soft look and to prevent this problem.

I don't know if what I have is frizz or what but I need some hair help....what should I use and is this frizz?

That's frizz.

Use conditioner every time you shower (also comb your hair out while it's in it to de-tangle it without breaking it.)

Use a deep-conditioner (the kind you leave in for a few minutes in the shower) once or twice a week.

Avoid overusing blow dryers. Towel dry as much water out of your hair as possible and use an anti-frizz serum before you blowdry/style.

Black hair dye?

I naturally have *very* dark brown hair but it has an obvious brown/reddish/coppery hue which I really loathe on myself,so i've taken to dying it black, the first time it was an indigo-black which looked nice but a bit unnatural, the second time I manged to find a dye that actually was black (permenant).Right now my hair is very thick and healthy but i'm worried that if I constantly dye it,it will damage it.Is there anything I could use to minimise any damage or another safer product that could give me the black hair colour?

Black hair dye?

dark hair dyes dont contain that much amonia so it wont damage your hair if you do it no more than once a month

Black hair dye?

herbal essences for damaged or dyed hair

Black hair dye?

Yes . Shoe polish . It is cheep and safe .

Black hair dye?

as long as you are only retouch the roots every month or so and then only applying remainder of tint to lengths as needed for a few minutes before shampooing it, or rinsing it off you should be ok

if the ends haven't faded don't reapply

you can blow strait your hair with a thick soft brissel brush or you can try a strait iron for the hair

I've curly hair, %26amp; I wanna make it straight. It isn't rlly so curly, but I want a new look!?

Wash it,condition and ralax it,and try using a flat iron iff u can get 2 1.

I've curly hair, %26amp; I wanna make it straight. It isn't rlly so curly, but I want a new look!?

I think the only way to get your hair straight would be to straighten it..I know straightners are bad for your hair and all but you should take precautions like for example, buy an intensive conditioner, use a product that will protect your hair from straightening irons...once in a blue moon won't damage your hair but repeatedly will, so don't do it so often. I know there aren't much products over there ( i went last summer) but try your best to find something in a chemist, they have good chemists in Alexandria..Good luck xx

I've curly hair, %26amp; I wanna make it straight. It isn't rlly so curly, but I want a new look!?

Okay, Ms. Egypt, what about large curlers? They will smooth out your hair without ruining it and they will create a soft wave that you know will loosen throughout the day. But please, promise me, you will not straighten your hair with a blowdryer. It will frizz your hair %26amp; make you unhappier than you are.

Good Luck!!

I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to

I have layered shoulder length blonde hair. Its sort of a light wavy, but I prefer it pin straight. Sometimes I straighten my hair every other day. Like, I will straighten it one day, not wash it that night then touch it up in the morning.

I vary my shampoo and conditioners, I use Pantene Pro-V 2in1 Anti-Frizz (I believe), Head And Shoulders, Suave, or Bath And Body Works- Warm Vanilla Sugar.

Is there any really good products for my hair that will keep it looking beautiful and healthy while being straight?

I also dont blow dry my hair. (Physically Challenged! :D) I take a shower at night then I let it dry over night and wake up and straighten my hair section by section. (Bottom, Up)

Thanks Ahead Of Time. :)

I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?

I straighten my hair almost every day as well. You should stay away from the cheap shampoos, like Pantene, Suave... all that. They can be pretty bad for your hair. My hairdresser recommended Redken for me. There's many different styles... dry hair, damaged hair, all that. There's also something I use to put in my hair before I straighten. It helps with the heat against my hair. Hope this helps!

I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?

try aussie thats what i use. and i do what you do.

so it works pretty good.

I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?

Do nottttt use Pantene Pro-V. If you look on the back of the bottle there's like 6 different alcohols in it which are NOT good for your hair. Use Aussie!

I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?

If you're going to straighten your hair that much, you need to invest in better hair products. Those cheap ones have stuff in it that makes your hair look good temporarily, but eventually weakens it. Try Biolage, Joico, Matrix shampoos. Ask a professional hairdresser what type is best for you. I'd also get a really good serum to put in your ends to seal the cuticle since the biggest problem with heat styling hair is getting split ends. A nice flat-iron is super important, too. I have a Chi ceramic and I love it! Finally, get your hair cut regularly. That will keep your hair looking healthy!

I used to straighten my hair alot, too. But eventually I realized that I needed to find other ways my hair looked good to keep from damaging it so much. Experiment a little. You might find another way to do it that won't stress your hair so when you DO straighten it, it will look stunning!

Oh, also! I use Matrix Sleek Look spray. It comes in a little orange bottle. You spray it in your hair just before you straighten and it not only protects your hair, but it keeps it the way you want for longer. I think they have other versions of stuff like this too, like Chi Iron spray.

I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?

I use this really good shampoo and conditioner : Pantene time renewal. Your reading what it does, and u think its bullshit. Until you try it. I garuntee its not bull. It can restore up to 2 years worth of dammage on your hair in just one month. I mean dammage like, blow-drying, straightenneing, perms, and even pregnancy. And it does leave ur hair looking and feeling soft, and its extremely good for dry hair too. Also cleans well. So from experience, it does work, and it is the best shampoo and conditionner ive never tried for dry hair. Its not that expensive either.

Straightened hair?

i straighten my hair alot..what will keep it looking healthy?

Straightened hair?

I use this vo5 spray. It comes in a red bottle, small. It is made especially for hair that is submitted to heat from straighteners and dryers. I hope that helps!

Straightened hair?

use a cream to protect your hair from straightening and get a trim every 6-8 weeks

Straightened hair?

Dove shampoo and conditioner. I use that all the time and you shouldn't wash your hair more than 2 times a week. Washing your hair everyday releases alot of your natural oils, this is why we have dry looking hair. The straightener is damaging your hair alot to so yeah, try dove. WOrks for me

Straightened hair?

the secret to that is horse shampoo. yep it makes your hair soft, shiny, and healthy. buy the MAIN N' TAIL kind. if your not comfortable with that then use head and shoulders.

Straightened hair?

Make sure that you are using a Conditioner. Some of the best hair products that dont cost that much are Pantyne and Infusium 23. Keep your ends trimmed. Watch out for dangerous chemicals... like bleaches, peroxides, and extra highlights. If you use a flat iron, give your hair a break on the weekends or days that you dont go out. Also, if you drink plenty of water, it has an effect on your hair.

Straightened hair?

if u straighten it a lot u should put on conditioner once and awhile to keep ur hair strong and shinny.

Straightened hair?

I have the same prob.. use elvive masks from lore'al...they're SOMETHING!! use the orange color container they look like small

penut butter containers.

Straightened hair?

lots of shampoos and conditioners are good for that. i don't have any at the back of my head. but you should only use ceramic straightners, not metal or anything, better for your hair.

Straightened hair?

I straighten my hair almost everyday, but it still looks healthy. To keep it healthy, only straighten your hair when it's dry, and use a heat protectant on the hair before straightening it. Remember that heating up your hair frequently may cause split ends, so buy a conditioning shampoo that repairs breakage. Also, try to let your hair dry natually whenever possible. If you do this, it will continue to look heathly even when straightened.

Straightened hair?

Thermasilk or however you spell it! it like makes your hair look shiny..!.

Straightened hair?

I have the same problem! i also have a lot of blonde highlights especially in my bangs and i straighten my bangs mostly and they're the most fried. so like everynight i keep conditioner in them for a half hour then wash it out and dont do anything to it. I think it helps, maybe it doesn't but it's worth a try!

Straightened hair?

-get it chemically straightened

-condition it alot

-go for a shampoo thats especially for damaged hair or one advertised exclusively for hair thats been damaged by blow dryers and straightening irons

Straightened hair?

Your hair will initially look very nice and smooth. But the more you keep using it, the worse it'll get. Try not to use your flat iron all the time. Maybe once a week or so would be good depending on how your hair is. My hair was dry and brittle after flat ironing once a week for about a year. For the past two month I have stopped using it even though I have very curly hair. My hair is again getting better and softer. Try to save up a good Iron. You would rather spend money on one good iron than 3 cheap ones. Chi Ceramic Irons are good, but expensive. Also use a heat protective cream or spray before straightening. Redken makes good ones, but again are expenve. Also I heard Citre Shine makes good heat protective serum/spray/cream. Just do a little research to find a good one for your type of hair.

Straightened hair?

try a curly look. its actually more in fashion right now. i no a way without ever subjecting your hair to constant heat again.

well no shampoo has magic curl making ingredient, but some bring out natural curl. here are some tips:

use sunsilk for curly hair. shampoo and conditioner.

apply shampoo directly on scalp and lather for about 2 minutes working your way down hair at the very end.

apply conditioner. start from bottoms and work your way up. make sure it doesnt touch scalp because that could cause dandruff.

towel dry hair very well but dont rub hair together with towel. creates frizz and damages hair's structure.

apply briosilk oil starting from bottoms working your way up. this will help set natural curls.

to dry: brush hair ONCE ONLY then put in bun but instead of holding with elastic put giant hair claw. this will create flawless look.

good luck on htis. first time will be fabulous. if u keep doing this your hair will get more natural curl and will go away from being plain old straght. toodles!

How can i treat dandruff if i have oily hair?

I get really annoyed by my dandruff... its not really noticeable unless i scratch my head or something and it kind of loosens the flakes. So i would think that using more conditioner would work, but I my hair gets greasy really fast at the roots. Like if i take a shower before bed, and then straighten it the next morning then it's greasy. But the ends of my hair are kind of dry. My hair is just kind of confusing! and i don't know what products to use.

so basically i have dandruff, oily roots, and dry and damaged ends. Even though i get my hair trimmed about every 3 months. I want to grow it longer but it just looks unhealthy before i get it to the length i want it at. And my hair grows kind of slow. I don't get it though, my younger sister has really shiny healthy looking hair that grows really fast, and even if it's damaged, it doesn't look it. And she straightens it every day, i straighten my hair probably about once every other week!

is there a miracle product? or solution?

thx!!

How can i treat dandruff if i have oily hair?

I get dandruff if I don't use a dandruff shampoo on my hair every day...I use head an shoulders, they have a ton of different shampoos and conditioners for any hair type and they are all anti-dandruff. For your dry ends I would use a leave in conditioner on the ends for your hair only.

How can i treat dandruff if i have oily hair?

you can use head and shoulders dandruff control shampoo or any other brand. but i recommend this one.

i also have the same problem. So what i do is i wash my hair everyday so i get rid of the grease. Also, i don't get any more dandruff anymore.

How can i treat dandruff if i have oily hair?

id say make sure you rinse your hair thouroughly after shampooing and conditioning, it minimises dandruff. DON'T put conditioner on your roots it makes it like 10x oilier.

for dry or damaged end use Miracle hair insurance by aussie haircare.. it really isa miracle.. i swear by it.. i use it evry day (or every other day)

and make sure you use heat protection spray when using straighteners.

Hope this helps!

How can i treat dandruff if i have oily hair?

wash your hair with shampoo daily to prevent the spread of bacteria. One of the effective solutions for dealing with dandruff is to use the commercially prepared medicated shampoos meant for removing the dandruff. They are very effective in disinfecting the scalp. But if you suffer from dry scalp, daily shampooing can cause eczema. Shampooing once in 3 days is the best solution.

Consulting the dermatologist or skin specialist if you have stubborn and difficult-to-manage dandruff.

Curly hair??

i have long curly hair thats dry and knotty.. and i use this shampoo and conditioner http://www.drugstore.com/qxp160149_33318...

evry day!!!! is this healthy using it evry day.. i mean my hair is extremely dry already.. pls someone help

Curly hair??

use treasome. they have shampoo and conditioner. it really works. i have hair like yours and it makes it really thin and strong and non-ratty

Curly hair??

yes it should be fine as long as oit keeps working

Curly hair??

First off STOP SHAMPOOING EVERYDAY. That shampoo is stripping your hair of much needed oils.

Curly hair is not cheap. You need to find a good mousse or gel if you prefer and also a good leave in conditioner.

John Freida is good

also Aveda if you have the money.

Curly hair??

It might not be working for you, try using a different shampoo, I used a shampoo that dried my hair out completely and I could never do anything to it.But I switched Shampoos and it worked really well for me. ..and Your not suppose to wash your hair every day..every other day is good.

African American Hair.?

Okay so once again another hair question =[[

soooo i learned that i have to wash my hair %26amp; condition it and keep it healthy %26amp; moisterized. will this make my hair grow???

African American Hair.?

Hair grows no matter what, the challenge is making sure that it grows to it's maximum potential and that you maintain the length. Hair grows at the average rate of 1/2 in. a month but some people have hair that grows more or less than the mean. While genetics partially determine how fast your hair grows, eating a healthy diet and/or taking daily multivitamins can help your hair grow stronger and more rapidly.

You should wash and deep condition (w/ hot oil treatments, deep conditioners, and/or protein treatments) your hair about once a week to keep your hair healthy and to minimize the breakage. The key to minimizing hair breakage is to maintain a balance between the amount of moisture and protein in the hair so that it can be strong and resilient. You can read more about African American hair in these websites and if you have more questions, don't hesitate to email me.

African American Hair.?

Get regular trims. I have my girl "dust" the ends for dry and split ends. Keep the heat tools to a minimum. Let your hair air dry and eat healthy. That should do it. Good Luck.

African American Hair.?

hmmm maybe get it a weave to look like rihanna's or beyonce's.??

that would look cute! :)

African American Hair.?

as much as a lot of black products would like us to believe, there is really no miracle way to suddenly make your hair grow. although there are some things that can promote hair growth. there are some essential oils you can use like basil, peppermint, rosemary. go to google or something and type in essential hair oil. also i hear amla oil is good for hair growth. and of course what you eat will affect hair growth. eat fruit, vegetables, drink plenty of water, etc. also there are some vitamins (many which are in foods you can eat) that promote hair growth like beta carotene, vitamin B-6 and more. i recommend you just do searches on things like this. i think keeping your scalp clean may help too. (avoid products that contain mineral oil! it clogs hair follicles). look at different sites that focus on black hair care i recommend: nappturality.com and growafrohairlong.com

Need hair tips fast ..please?

I had a baby 4mths ago and ever since then my hair has had some serious issues. My hair breaks easily and falls out by the bunch ( the dr. said the falling out is normal due to pregnancy , its falling out but I am not going bald , crazy huh ? ) . My hair is real thick and wavy , I can't flat iron my hair it will only frizz back up so I use a kids relaxer to straighten it. I currently use Pantene ProV anti breakage products but still it breaks. What products can I use to get my hair back on track to being healthy again?

Need hair tips fast ..please?

what you REALLY dont need is products right now, you need to relax and just let it grow naturally.

you have to let your body gain back all those nutrients that you just gave the baby. And from the question i see that you are stressin', and that will definately not help.

Just let the perm grow out, and in the mean time consolidate the products down to one simple ingredient product like vaseline or olive oil. (vaseline and regular scalp massages did it for me) your hair also need some recoup time from that perm (even though it was a kiddie perm), and trying to flat iron it.

Your hair just need time to chill, and it will get back to its normal state, just stop trying to put it there chemically or thermally..

aiiiigggghhhhttt???

ps. perm and stuff wont grow it any faster, good nurturing will.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

u need to take alot of vitaminB that is very good for hair Report It

Need hair tips fast ..please?

nope

Need hair tips fast ..please?

ya u really do

provided by lil mb from the blocka boys

Need hair tips fast ..please?

Vitamin E liquid gel capsules, break them open and work into your hair from ends to roots and massage into scalp, makes it a little greasy but its worth it in the end.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

Get your hair cut. It's the only way to get rid of breakage. To prevent more breakage, I'd keep doing what you're doing. I'd also use a "wet comb" and not a brush, I'd only wash every other day, and I'd try to avoid pulling it back into elastics.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

Don't use too many strong chemicals... those home coloring kits are the worst for that. I'm not sure how strong that relaxer is.

Also, eat right. It won't fix the hair you already have, but new hair will grow strong and healthy if you have the right nutrients.

Stay away from too much blow drying, chemicals, curling irons... etc. Anything that damages hair.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

joico K-pak deep conditioner and shampoo's/conditioners. it specifically has something about repairing damange from pregnancy too, and if you leave it in for longer than the recoomended amount of time (5 min) it works amazing. I leave mine in for an hour at least, you'll be amazed. relaxing your hair also causes damage, maybe until it gets a bit healthier you should stop doing that, just until you get it back on track.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

As I do not possess expertise in hair styling or hair care I must direct you to this:

Also google in case you need to find more answers. Cheers.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

It is normal for your hair to do this even if youre not pregnant. I had the same issues with my hair and I used herbal essences to help the breakage. You'll always have some kind of hair loss its normal because its leaving room for new hair strands to grow, but dont worry you wont go bald.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

ummmm im not sure. maybe u could try asking ur docter, or ur hair stylist.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

You might want to try a product called "Extreme Anti-Snap" by Redken. It's a leave-in treatment for distressed hair. It helps control breakage and stuff like that. I bought mine at a professional hair salon. It isn't too expensive and it has worked for mine. Good Luck!!!

Need hair tips fast ..please?

Hello,

Use Olive oil at night rub into scalp so it gets into the cuticle, wrap in a grocery bag and towel and sleep. It is Also a EXCELLENT skin care product, it is natural and will make your face and body SUPER soft and get rid of wrinkles, it also gets into your bloodstream and is very healthy for you..type in is olive oil good for your skin and hair and read the mircacles!

Need hair tips fast ..please?

i would say stop using pantene, it cause too much build up, trust me!! i prefer matrix or biolage shampoo%26amp;conditioner..

try gettin a cut too because that will lessen breakage! GOOD LUCK

Need hair tips fast ..please?

There is a knew product from Loreal, its name is x-tenso it works very well for me maybe it could help you.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

Try cutting your hair to reduce some of the damage. Then i would buy DOVE Shampoo and Conditioner OR Repairing Treatment. They are $4.95 a piece and come in navy blue bottles. Use the Repairing Treatment 2-3 times a week. This is what i did and my hair fells and lokks better-GOOD LUCK!

Need hair tips fast ..please?

i think regulary put coconut oil in, it really helps ur hair or try olive oil, lay off the heavy hair products for a while 2

hope this helps

Need hair tips fast ..please?

I have the exact same problem!! No matter how much conditioner I use, or what I used to comb it out, or any of the moisterizers, my hair still breaks off.

Some people say to cutt the ends off, however, that didn't seem to work with me.

OK, this is probably gross, but the best things that help me is to go 2 days without washing it, you can still bathe, just don't wash your hair, since your body doesn't provide the natural oil your hair needs. Also I use dog or baby shampoo. Most people don't even know the difference when I used dog shampoo cause I get the scented kind, but people will notice when you use the baby shampoo. lol

Oh, and one more thing I do is every other week I put about 1/2 cup of mayo (yeah, the food goop) in my hair, work it into the scalp really good and cover all your hair with plastic wrap, let it set 5-10 minutes and wash out really good. Normally I need to wash it again within the same day I do it cause my hair will smell kinda bad if I didn't rinse it good enough. I know it sounds gross, but thats the only things that works for me.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

i think you need to get a very good deep conditioning treatment. pantene coates your hair and doesn't let moisture in so i would change the products that you use. and since your hair is breaking that means it is very dry. when your hair stretches than breaks it need protein and moisture. and if your hair stretches and stretches it needs protein. so try redken extreme shampoo and conditioner or alterna caviar moisture shampoo and conditioner. you can help now by putting some conditioner in your hair than cover it with a shower cap and blow dry it for 10 minutes than let it cool for 10 minutes!!!

Need hair tips fast ..please?

STOP using pantene proV I started to use it and my hair started to fall out in banches and breaking also. I suggest u use a different shampo and conditior.

Need hair tips fast ..please?

i mean i know me being mixed and having black people texture hair...i have the same problem..but lately i've been resolving it..by using a grease and using it daily...its called super grow triple strength and since i began using it i havent had any problem...and i use hot oil treatments...i use one a week...

Need hair tips fast ..please?

Try to impove ur diet...

either include Vit E in ur diet naturally (green vegetables).. or take capsules of Vit E and A.. that shud help

Need hair tips fast ..please?

You will lose your hair for up to 18 months...sorry, but that's normal after giving birth. Try Matrix "Sleek Looks" It should help with the frizzes. You have to make absolutely sure you have your hair completely dry before you straighten it otherwise it will frizz up again. Pantene is the worst! Sorry, but Professional products DO make a difference. "Instacure" in the essential line by Matrix is the most wonderful product ever!. You will love it. If that's the only thing you can afford ...then use that!. I don't know why you hair is breaking other than possibly you are putting it up in a pony while it is wet? Or tighter than usual? You hair is at its weakest state when wet. Use a wide tooth comb ONLY, when wet. Then finger it into place or put it in a loose pony. Good luck, and let me know. This is all normal ..so don't panic, just enjoy your baby. You're at about the peak of the amount that will fall out for awhile.

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

I am mixed with black %26amp; asian, and I have pretty thick hair. I've been researching products to use on my hair. Currently I'm using Suave Healthy Curls shampoo and Pantene ProV Hydrating Curls conditionor. I also use Sunsilk Frizz Ease (for curls%26amp;waves) and Tresseme (sp) Curl Care Mousse. All works pretty well, but it doesn't last through the day (well, the mousse works really well, but I don't know if I should use it daily).. and I can't really do any cute curly hairstyles. I would like something that could bring out my curls more (instead of just after I wash my hair) and last at least 8 hours. Also, maybe something to smooth my hair out so it won't be so poofy %26amp; I could wear it down. And if you have any tips or hair styles, that would be nice too. Sorry if i'm asking a lot, but I would really appericiate the help! :]

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

First get long layers put in your hair, second DON'T brush your hair (I know it sounds weird, but it breaks apart the ringlets) third use mouse and scrunch hair, lastly use pump spray after hair is dry. Good luck.

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

Garnier Fructis Curl Control

Aveda Curl Control

both works really well on curly hair and helps any style u have.

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

well there is this stuff called motions for kids.. well my hair gets pretty poufy and frizzy and thats the only stuff that works.... you can try using that and also herbal essences set me up mousse with a blow dryer and a finger diffuser attachment. wearing yout hair in a ponytail but not pulled straight to your head.. some bumps are okay..makes it look more natural and when you wear your hair down.. try a small zig-zag pattern split but not down the middle maybe on the side.. thats if your not using accessories :) hope i helped...oh and yes you can use that everyday and if i didnt help... you can ask your local beautician for some advice. =]

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

I had the same problem. first, dont use a different brand of shampoo and conditioner. keep products to one or two products. It helps to get products that are good for daily use because you should only shampoo every other day. I use garnier fructis sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner. I also use the Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner. (This product is good for everyday use.) That helps with poofiness. To help frizz I use BioSilk smoothing creme. Those products leave your hair light yet smooth. I would suggest not using frizz Ease. When i used that line of products it made my hair so greasy you had to wash it again. Once you find the brands that work best for you stick to it. It is not good for your hair to change products all the time. I hope this helped!

Which hair products work well with curly hair?

I could write a book about curly hair.

Don't wash it everyday. It will dry it out and make it look super frizzy. Condition it in between washes. Also I know it sounds weird but brush your hair in the shower while its full of conditioner to get the tangles out....thats the only time I brush my hair, you don't need a pick or any of that stuff. It makes it painless instead of picking through a mane of unruly curls.

Throw your blow dryer away. Your hair will look 100% better if you can air dry it. If you don't have time to air dry it make sure you don't over dry it... leave it a little damp.

Try not to touch it at all.. the more its touched the worse it looks.

I use Nexxus hair lotion. It cost more than the other stuff but it goes a long way and it works better than any mousse gel or hair spray. Also doesn't leave as much build up. Make sure you get the ends of the hair because thats where it frizzes the worst.

As the day goes if it gets a little frizzy all you have to do is run some water through it with your hands and the product will set in again.

Curly hair is hard work but its worth it.

Don't hide your curls, leave your hair down but

Its also really easy to toss up in messy styles and have it look stunning.

I work in public and all day long people stop me to compliment my hair.

Good luck.

John Frieda Traumlocken, Revlon Scrunch or Paul Mitchell`s products

Girls with long hair..?

whats your secret? come on spill. i cant get my hair to grow. why!? i do everything to keep it healthy! it doesnt seem to be growing!

ugh help!

thanks!

Girls with long hair..?

Mine touches the seat of the chair when I sit down. My secret is to stay away from blow dryers, hairstylists, and scissors.

Girls with long hair..?

My hair is past my waist. I use pantene pro-v smooth and sleek shampoo and conditioner. It keeps my hair healthy. Also, if you have the ends trimmed (to get rid of split ends), it'll grow faster.

Girls with long hair..?

i've had long hair all my life and there is no real secret to it. just keep it healthy. i have heard that if you trim your hair the faster it'll grow..but who knows!

Girls with long hair..?

well stay from hairdryers, curling irons, straightners, anykind of those and try to get rid of your split ends, because tha prevents your hair from growing so i would recommand a shampoo for that. Also, you should shampoo your hair very good and also deep condition! Well, thats what i do.

Girls with long hair..?

I grew up with long hair. Let it grow until it was past my butt. Like the other person said, you really have to take care of your hair.

Don't use hairdryers or straightening irons on it.

Don't bleach it or color it.

Don't layer it (may cause split ends)

Don't use too many products on it.

Condition it well.

Protect it from drying out.

I know this sound gross, but don't wash it too much. Mainly because the natural oils in your hair keeps it from drying out.

Trimming it when it looks like it's getting damaged.

*I cut my hair short about a year ago and I'm having a hard time growing it out again because I straighten my hair so much, not to mention I layered it. I never got split ends or damaged dry hair until I started straigthening it, so it's goes to show that keeping it natural keeps it healthy.

Girls with long hair..?

It takes time. You don't think it's growing but it really is. Just eat healthy and don't use flat iron's or anything that can damage your hair. Your welcome!

How can i get straight hair?

i am 17 and i have thick, long curly hair.how can i keep them healthy and straight?

How can i get straight hair?

straighten it. this is the only way to keep it straight. but to keep it healthy and to stop it from getting damaged, use heat protection spray before straightening.

good luck and i hope i helped!

How can i get straight hair?

staighten you hair with a sraightener....duh

How can i get straight hair?

use a hot iron and bed head after party

i use herbal essences -rose hips for permed, dry, colored, or damaged hair- use that so its still healthy after the hot iron

hope it helps!

How can i get straight hair?

there's no way to straighten your hair

to where it's healthy

a straightner fries your hair

so if your hair isnt naturally straight

then i'm afraid you just have to damage it

if you want it super straight

How can i get straight hair?

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

My hair has been dyed over 10 times since the time I was 14. I'm now 20 and trying to grow it out. I've got about an inch of it grown out now. Somebody told me that I should cut an half an inch to an inch off every couple months and the roots/natural hair will grow out healthier.. is this true?

Or is it hopeless for me to get the dye out of my hair until it's down to my butt...

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

Honey, the only way to get die out of your hair is to cut it off.

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

let it grow out and do just what the people said... as more of your natural color comes in, cut a couple inches off

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

Shave your head, and start over!

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

Maybe you could use the temp dyes or colour shampoos to even it while you are growing it out? Just a thought.

Good luck!

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

re-dye it with the original colour of the hair.

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

I think that cutting off a half of an inch every couple of months sounds like you best bet. It just going to take some time.

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

You need to go to the best hair salon near you and have them match your original hair color meaning your roots and trim your hair every other month. Another way to get rid of your hair dye is to always use hot water when washing your hair that makes your hair go lighter and makes the dye less clingy to your hair. There's shampoos out there that say they can get your normal hair color back but it's actually bad for your hair, it doesnt really go back to your normal color goes to some odd looking color and it really ruins your hair

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

i think theres a kit you can buy to wash it all out?? ask a hair dresser.

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

well...you can bleach it then dye it back to your real color. But if you dont want to do that, then trimming your hair every 3-6 weeks will help it grow faster and healthier :)

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

The best thing to do is dye it the color of your roots and trim it every month, but don't get the color stripped, its soo harsh on your hair and it can make the color like orangy and gross looking

What's the best way to get rid of dyed hair?

Speak to your stylist and tell her everything you wrote here. Will help a lot, pretty sure!

I want to grow my hair longer...?

my hair is kinda growing, but slower than normal...

i take vitamins, i wash my hair twice a week, and 5 months ago i got a hair cut...

what can i do to make my hair grow faster, longer and healthier??

I want to grow my hair longer...?

I also am trying to grow my hair, and a couple of things I've heard that are supposed to make your hair grow faster, but I'm not sure how well they work.

1. Using jojoba oil in your hair is supposed to reduce frizziness, and damage making it healthier and some how grow faster.

2. I've heard that 'Hair Plus' shampoos and conditioners are supposed to work.

3. Also massaging your scalp often increases blood circulation to your head.

4. Braiding your hair to make it grow faster is so old fashioned and I have absolutely NO IDEA if it works.

5. Cutting the ends of your hair every 6 weeks or so

6. Also rubbing your hair with a traditional towel is supposed to be harmful, and someone has said that if you buy a silk head wrap and pillowcase thatn it should help.

Hope this helps.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

the shorter you cut it the faster it will grow

I want to grow my hair longer...?

it doesnt matter how much yooh wash ur hair but

yooh ahould was hit more than twice a week.

but idont think theres anything yooh can do to make it grow faster.try google er something?or ask ur hair stylist.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

my hair has always been very long and i never cut it and i wash it at least four tomes a week.It doesn't matter hoe short you cut you hair it won't grow any faster because you hair is dead so cutting it isn't going to hep

I want to grow my hair longer...?

I honestly don't think there is any way of making your hair grow faster.........not that I can think of. Some peoples hair just grow faster and others just take time.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

wash your hair every other day. its BAD for your hair to only wash it that much. it gets too many oils in it, and its harder to manage and weigh down.

get your hair trimmed every 3 weeks. NEVER wait for more than one month or two. your hair is unhealthy because of what your doing to it.

wash your hair every other day in lukewarm water. use a quarter size amount. massage into hair with finger tips for 2 minutes. rinse, and then use about 2 quarter sized amounts of conditioner. i shave and wash my body, then rinse the conditioner in cold water. then get out. then put in a frizz serum and dry.

this is exactly what you should do to make your hair healthy, soft, shiny, and longer.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

well just keep on doing what your doing and trim your hair every now and then, it should grow faster.

I want to grow my hair longer...?

the vitamins are a good start... and they will take time to take effect... another thing is be out in the sun... the sun is a natural source of health for your hair... i have also heard vitamin e is particularly good for your hair... another ancient remedy that i havent used before but have heard of is olive oil in your hair... along the roots and massage...

let me know if that one works :) good luck

I want to grow my hair longer...?

First of all, LET GO OF THE PILLS!!!!!!!!! I may be a total nitwit at style but i do know this, those hair vitamins are just going to hurt your body very slowly. it doesn't directly go to your hair on your head either. believe me, this may be irrelevant, but my cousin started taking pills to grow her nails longer. i don't want you or anybody to get scared, but she took them normally and one day she said she felt ill. we went to the doctor and we had to sign out a form for her. it asked if she was taking any medications and we put down the pills she was taking. we gave the papers to the lady at the counter and she looked at the paper. she said shes problably ill from the pills. and im telling YOU now, i dont want anybody to get hurt. so please stop the pills and yourr hair growth might go back to normal in a few days.( some of the dead protein the pills try to take out of your head arent really dead.)

I want to grow my hair longer...?

Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

What is the best thing to take good care with a long hair?

Heat is not good for hair; it causes dryness and split ends. There are many good and cheap shampoos available for hair repair. I personally like Head and Shoulders for my long hair.

What is the best thing to take good care with a long hair?

I would reccomend doing a hot oil treatment once in a while to repair any damages-from the kitchen I have heard that olive oil and coconut oil are really good just to put in your hair for an hour or so and rinse out. It makes your hair really nice. The split ends a trim every 2-3 weeks should do it :)

What is the best thing to take good care with a long hair?

Baking soda mixed with your shampoo cleans hair of build up by hairspray, etc. Every ones hair is different. A professional salon shampoo %26amp; conditioner is best. Never use suave and other store bought stuff.

Home Remedy for damaged hair growth care

[1] Mix 1/2 cup honey and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Work a small amount at a time through hair until coated. Cover hair with a shower cap; leave on 30 minutes. Shampoo well and rinse.

[2] 1/2 cup of ripe avocado, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 banana (I prefer it not to be too ripe), 1 egg yolk. Massage it in to your hair and especially your scalp. Cover it with a shower cap. You can also use a gallon size baggie in a pinch. Wait 45 minutes to an hour then rinse it off thoroughly and shampoo as usual. This beauty recipe is a keeper, I love the way it makes my hair look and feel.

[3] Beat 1 egg white until foamy. Add to 6 tablespoons plain natural yogurt. Apply to hair in small sections at a time. Leave in for 15 minutes. Rinse.

[4] 2 cups distilled water, 1/3 cup chopped fresh rosemary leaves - In small saucepan combine ingredients and bring to boil. Continue to boil 5 minutes. Let cool, then pour into spray bottle. Keep refrigerated and mist on hair to add shine, tone scalp, or invigorate skin.

[5] In a blender or food processor, combine 2 1/2 tablespoons dried milk, 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil, and 1 egg. Apply evenly to hair and let set for at least an hour. Shampoo and style as usual.

[6] Mix two whole eggs with four tablespoons of olive oil. Smooth through hair. Wrap head with plastic wrap, and leave in hair for 10 minutes. Rinse well.

[7] Boil 7 heaping tablespoons dried thyme in 2 cups water for 10 minutes. Strain and cool. Pour 1/2 mixture over clean, damp hair. Massage into scalp, do not rinse. Use the rest of the solution another day.

[8] If you swim in a chlorinated pool for exercise on a regular basis, the same damage you've noticed happening to your skin and bathing suit, is happening to your hair, as well. Try this treatment at home to keep chlorine damage to a minimum.

# Before getting into the shower, wet hair with cold water. Pretend you have shampoo in your hair, and massage water through hair. When finished, comb hair straight.

# Massage a cup of milk through hair; this will ensure softness and silkiness which is most important for pin-straight hair! Keep the milk in for 1.5 min and rinse out with lukewarm water.

# Once the milk is completely rinsed out, lightly shampoo hair. Leave shampoo in for one minute and then rise out with cold water. Then lightly condition hair. Also leave on for one minute and rinse out with lukewarm water.

# After completely rinsing out both shampoo and conditioner, towel off any extra water. Wrap hair in towel, and leave the towel in there for 5 min.

# Unwrap hair, and blow-dry it. make sure all of the hair is completely dry before proceeding.

# Part hair into an upper section and a lower section [half ponytail]. Clip upper section very high up.

# Set hair straightener to appropriate setting for your hair texture/thickness/manageability [that will be indicated on box] and wait until it has warmed up to the appropriate heat setting.

# Spray bottom half lightly with hair spray and massage the hair spray in lightly in a downward motion for a couple seconds.

# Thoroughly straighten bottom half, and when done add some more hairspray, and massage it in. Optional: add a little glossing spray.

Egg and Mayo as hair conditioner?

I heard that is good, but the mayo is hard to get out. Another good one is you put an avocado in the blender mix it with olive oil, moroccan oil and honey, then use it on your hair as a hair mask. It's good to leave it on up to an hour or you can even sleep with it if you cover your hair. After you wash it out and use conditioner rinse your hair with cold lemon juice, it will clean off any residue and make your hair shiny.

Egg and Mayo as hair conditioner?

this is a really old solution to dry hair if you are willing to try it about 20 minutes is good but you could get just as good results with biolage stregthening mask under a dryer for about 20 minutes

Egg and Mayo as hair conditioner?

that is absolutely true since both commodities have high protein content. protein is made of some tiny molecules called amino acids. guess what? your hair is made of amino acid. so adding protein to you hair is a plus. you may also add oatmeal, papaya, aloe, coconut. these are all good products. after washing your hair just saturate your hair with a pureed mixture of any of the ingredients separately or in combination and cover with a steam cap or plastic bag for up to thirty minutes then rinse. the odour if you find it unpleasant can be covered up with hairspray or moisturiser.

Egg and Mayo as hair conditioner?

eww eww eww

Egg and Mayo as hair conditioner?

Well in the "old" days my mom used to put mayonaisse on her hair and wrap it in a warm towel. Now, in THEORY, it makes sense because hair is made of protein so the egg in the mayo would help to make the hair stronger and the oil in it would lubticate it. That's assuming the molecules are small enough to be absorbed. Neh.......There are plenty of good hair serums and protein treatments that are less messy and work ALOT better,
