How do i get straight hair?

i have naturally curly hair and i have a straighner but it takes so long to straighten it and it breaks my hair. i really need some tips or some names of products to help me straighten my hair and stilll have it stay healthy.

How do i get straight hair?

First off, you will want a good salon shampoo and conditioner; they are a little pricey but definitely worth it. I usually stock up when they are having sales. If you want something that will fight humidity then get Sleek Looks shampoo and conditioner; it閳ユ獨 made my Matrix and both are in orange bottles. If you don閳ユ獩 have a problem with humidity then Biolage Hydrating shampoo and conditioner works really well; also made my Matrix. I usually use Sleek Looks in the summer and Biolage in the winter. You should also get a product called Bio Silk. It閳ユ獨 like a lotion for your hair and you only have to use a tiny bit of it, plus is smells wonderful. It can be put in your hair wet or dry. I usually put a little bit in my hair while it閳ユ獨 wet right before I blow dry my hair and then I put a tiny bit more in before I use the flat iron; it helps with frizz and it help protect your hair from the heat damage. Use a big paddle brush to blow dry your hair straight and then use a flat iron to make your hair even straighter and silkier. Sometimes I use a big curling iron to flip the ends of my hair up, other times I just flat iron the ends so their stick straight; depends on my mood. Rinse the conditioner out of your hair with cold water, I know it sounds horrible but the benefits are worth it. Don閳ユ獩 wash your hair every day; try to only wash it every 2 to 3 days so the natural oils in your hair can do their thing to keep your hair healthy. I閳ユ獫e been doing all of this for most of my life and I have managed to keep my really healthy despite all the torture I put it through. Hope this was helpful and good luck.

You cant get straight hair without straighteners unfortunately. You can buy products to use which help it straighten - but theyre for using WITH straighteners. You can get products that smooth out kinks and frizz though, like anti frizz serums or the kinks and frizz sunsilk shampoo and conditioner. Curly hair is just as gorgeous as straight!

Do not listen to the people who have answered! Do not, I repeat do not get your hair chemically straightened. I did that and I regret it every day. My hair is straight, but it's a gigantic pouf ball now, it's frizzy and dry, I would much rather have my pretty curls back.

What I reccomend is Sebastion Straightening Liqui-Gel. Comb it through damp hair, and blow dry your hair in sections.

How do i get straight hair?

you can have it chemically relaxed/straightened at a salon or you can use a flatiron. if you go for the chemical route, do not try to do it at your house. the chemicals used in those procedures are extremely harmful.

If your straightener is breaking your hair maybe you should try some products (like a cream or something) that will help protect your hair from the heat and help it straighten better. Unfortunately, you really can't do anything to make it straighten faster... Also, you might want to think about going to a salon and getting it relaxed...it keeps hair straight or semi-straight for a long time so it wont take as long to straighten it and you won't have to worry about your hair breaking off every time you straighten.

How do i get straight hair?

protect your hair from heat styling products with a silicon based hair serum. i use got2b. it's got a pink cap and you put it on after you shower, or when your hair is wet. it makes your hair softer, stronger, and shinier =D for a straightener, you should get one with ceramic plates. Andis is pretty good, and cheap. i bought it at Walmart for under $20. Corioliss is good, too, and so is Chi, but they're pricey... Try the one by Revlon or something.. its red and about 2 inches in width. I tried it at my cousin's house, and it works GREAT.

Don't get it relaxed, it will kill your hair. I did it and that's the worst thing I have done to my hair even when I did the expensive Chi permanent relaxing. It took a long time for my hair to look healthy again. Plus those things leave it straight but frizzy and you still have to blow dry or flat iron your hair. I use the T3 tourmaline flat iron (the one Jennifer Aniston's hairstylist uses on her) and it leaves my hair super straight and smooth tha you would never guess is naturally curly. It is about $170 but lasts forever, I've had it for about 3-4 years. It has not damaged my hair because it is made of tourmaline. My hair has never been healthier. It heats up instantly and works fast. The Chi flat iron is also good but hair dressers and the salon I bought my T3 at (which carries both T3 and Chi) have told me that the Chi dries your hair more than the T3. They told me that if I tried the Chi for a month I would see the difference since I straighten my hair daily. You can also do a keratin relaxing treatment which is natural and doesn't damage. My friend had super tight curly hair and the keratin treatment left it amazingly straight. I never knew she had curly hair until she showed me a picture of years ago.

I have the same problem as you. You can still straighten your hair with a flat iron, but be sure to use some moisturizing, non-damage hair spray before you straighten it. It prevents hair damage of heat (ie straighteners and hairdryers) and moisturizes your hair into a glossy, shiny state. This product is avalible at any pharmacy and has many different brand names on the bottle.

If you want to completely forget about straightening your hair with a straightener, consider blow-drying it straight. First, after you've showered and your hair is reasonably damp, massage some leave-in conditioner into your hair OR deep conditioner from your roots to ends. These products protect your hair and stimulates your hair for the heat These products are avalible at any beauty stores or hair product store. Then, take a hairdryer and a large, flat paddle brush. Tightly pull your hair with this brush while blow-drying the hair gathered in the teeth of the brush. Once you've completely finished drying your hair using this strategy, consider spraying some of that moisturizing, non-damage spray. Your hair should be straight after this.

If you want to try anything else, use some olive oil. Place a quarter amount of it through your hair before you go to sleep and rinse it out in the morning, or try some hair straightening shampoos (ex: Sunsilk straightening shampoo or Herbal Essence's Dangerously straight shampoo, but these shampoos don't work on all hair). Good Luck

If you are going to continually straighten your hair then the best advise i can give you is to use an intense treatment from a professional range eg. Redken,Kerastase or tigi. Ask for advise from the salons top stylist on how to use the product and how often to use it,it is important to get it right. Use a strong heat protection product before straightening, and as a disguise for now, till your hair is in better condition, use a serum or pomade after straightening to give shine. GOOD LUCK SWEETIE.
