Is there anyone out there who doesn't ever shampoo their hair?

I read about a theory that says shampooing your hair is bad for it. That it strips it of all it's natural oils and it's much healthier if you never or rarely use any type of detergent on your hair. The article said to rinse it daily with warm water and occassioanlly use conditioner. It also said that for the first 2-4 weeks your hair gets really nasty, but then it becomes naturally thick, shiny, and healthy. Does anyone actually do this?

shampooing can be bad for your hair, but there's other ways to deal with it and it also depends on the types of products you use on your hair. also styling your hair with lots of styling products isn't good for your hair either and keeps it from doing what it needs to do naturally.

I've heard that too, but try using a WHOLE bottle of mustard in your hair. Let it dry for about 2 hours, then rinse.

My neighbor. Her hair is so dirty that is has a swirl of ratted up filthy hair tight down on her head. You would have to shave her bald headed and start over. I think whoever wrote your article should go to work for the Weekly World News. Or is that where you read it?
